Bronsil

Herfordshire

Little is known of this site’s early history other than it was originally a 13th century castle.

In the 15th century it was turned into a fortified manor house owned by Sir John Beauchamp,

treasurer to King Henry VI.

In 1644 it was taken by the  ‘Roundheads’  during the civil war and destroyed.
